The Elementor Pro plugin attempts to verify your license against the Elementor server. If the verification fails, the plugin marks the license as invalid.
The validation request is sent to my.elementor.com over HTTPS. A missing or malformed response triggers the error.
Typical triggers include an expired or revoked key, a typo when entering the key, a domain URL that does not match the stored license, outdated Elementor or Elementor Pro versions, a corrupted Pro zip file, server‑side blocks such as firewalls or missing cURL, caching layers that strip headers, multisite limits, or corrupted database entries for the license.
When the license is invalid, Pro widgets appear greyed out, the editor cannot drag them, and the front‑end may lose pop‑ups, forms, or theme‑builder sections. A red admin notice also appears.
