Elementor: Failed to save: Update conflict

The editor shows a red banner that reads “Failed to save: Update conflict”. Elementor stops the save operation and returns to the previous version. The message appears each time you click Publish or Update.

The error triggers when Elementor cannot complete the database write. Reasons include simultaneous save requests, exhausted PHP memory, a locked MySQL table, a URL that redirects between HTTP and HTTPS, or a security module that blocks the AJAX call. Each condition interrupts the normal save flow and forces Elementor to report a conflict.

When the error occurs, your changes disappear after a page refresh. The editor may show a spinning loader that never finishes. The issue prevents you from publishing new content or updating existing pages.
