Elementor template library not loading

The connection between Elementor and its cloud library breaks when the server cannot reach the remote API. This happens due to blocked outbound requests, REST API failures, insufficient PHP resources, SSL mismatches, or corrupted Elementor options.

When the request fails, the Template Library modal never receives the JSON payload. The browser blocks the response, and Elementor shows an endless spinner or an empty window.

allow_url_fopen is disabled or firewall blocks HTTPS call to my.elementor.com.
REST API or permalinks failure
mod_rewrite is off, .htaccess missing, or permalinks set to Plain prevents wp-json access.
Insufficient PHP resources
Memory limit below 128 MB or low max execution time stops the request.
SSL/TLS mismatch
Self‑signed certificate on localhost causes cURL SSL certificate problem.
